1980s - TODAY
Since the early 1980s, Fimer has been part of the world of engines and competitions. In fact, from 1988 to 1991 we sponsored the Rainbow Team in the off-shore world championships with two crafts that achieved their best performances in their categories during our sponsorship. This collaboration was born from a combination that has always characterised FIMER’s initiatives, which included partnership agreements with the supply of professional welders to the competition teams aimed at supporting the development of the competition crafts. Until 2004, we instead supported the Paolo Benvenuti team in the Italian Rally championship winning two consecutive titles in this category. In 2006, FIMER also debuted in winter sports by sponsoring the team captained by Massimo Bassan in the world sleddog championships.

2008 – 2010
A perfect union was established in 2008: FIMER – YAMAHA RACING. Collaborating with them for us means working alongside a leading company that shares our passion for technological innovation and love for perfection. A collaboration that once again goes beyond a simple relationship of sponsorship. In fact, in addition to being a sponsor, FIMER is also official partner of the Japanese company supplying them with the most advanced welding systems to support the 2007 world championship TEAM. A collaboration that was much sought-after for highlighting the innovative nature of these two companies, us and Yamaha. A collaboration that will continue over time considering the perfect partnership that has already been established between these two companies.
