Global Strategic Marketing Specialist

Reporting to:
Head of Marketing

Location: Europe (Italy; optionally Germany)


Role Outline:
Accountable for achieving high impact Marketing programs within agreed budget and ensuring brand coherence to support local business growth in meeting Sales targets for the solar inverter business.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of the marketing strategy
  • Ensure fit of all communication strategies and initiatives with business strategy maintaining and developing the positive image of the company, brand and value proposition in the mind of the customer
  • Brand governance, brand trainings and maintenance of the branding guidelines
  • Ensure consistent brand appearance, and creating brand awareness and consideration across all touchpoints
  • Work on initiatives to continuously improve internal and external brand awareness, engagement and consideration
  • Support the development of strategic marketing plans and communication campaigns in collaboration with the Marcom team incl. integrated campaign management, campaign ideation, creation, deployment, optimization, analysis, and reporting
  • Bringing an audience-centric approach to campaign strategy, creation of personas and designing the buyer's journey throughout the life of a campaign
  • Managing integrated campaign calendar for multiple geographies
  • Monitor the global marketing budget and monitor performance with suitable KPIs and dashboards
  • Support with marketing supplier qualification, selection and contract negotiations

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing/Communications or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B marketing
  • Profound knowledge of online and offline communication channels, tactics and tools
  • Experience in brand management
  • Ability to understand business priorities and create actionable deliverables based on them
  • Ability to discover, learn and implement new marketing tools and approaches
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide network within the business
  • Experience in an international market environment
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required
Desirable
  • Other language skills are appreciated
  • Experience in project management
  • Background in renewable energy technologies or similar industries
Position Interactions

Close collaboration with the global Marketing & Sales team as well as with the regional Marcom Managers

Challenges
  • Working in a virtual team across countries
  • Willingness to national and international travel required (approx. 20%)
