FINANCIAL ANALYST – USA REMOTE

Education - Degree in Finance or Accounting
Languages – Spanish/Italian will be beneficial.
Experience - 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis or other related fields

JOB SUMMARY AND SCOPE
The Financial Analyst will join FIMER branch in the US with the aim to support the local Finance Team in managing all the financial and reporting activities for the country.

ACTIVITIES

  • Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting and project support to management
  • Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
  • Monitor cost and identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
  • Interact, support and monitor financial aspects of all departments, working cross-functionally with Sales, Purchasing, Service and Project Management
  • Assist with AR (collections, remittance processing and customer follow-up) and AP (accruals, payment processing and vendor follow-up)
  • Perform monthly closing activities, including journal entries and financial statement analysis
  • Track currency fluctuations and impact on results

REQUIRED PROFILE 
MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; 
  • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis or other related fields
  • Strong Excel working knowledge  

NICE TO HAVE

  • Tax and exchange currency  
  • SAP experience
