LINUX EMBEDDED ENGINEER - CONNECTIVITY

Location: Terranuova Bracciolini (AR) – HYBRID position (70% on site – 30% remote)

Level / Seniority: Junior
Employment Contract Type: Permanent; Full-Time
Education – Master Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering in engineering
Experience – 2-3 years of experience or fresh graduated 
Languages - Fluent Italian (C1 or superior) and English knowledge (B2 or superior). 

JOB SUMMARY AND SCOPE
The required profile will be responsible to develop and maintain Linux embedded based products. He/she will translate the design feasibility to C/C++ code implementation and will develop unit test during the development. 

ACTIVITIES

  • Contributes together with Sr Architects to the requirements analysis and to the design process implementation
  • Analyzes and implements the documented design 
  • Develops software in agreement with Agile/SCRUM methodology
  • Performs all necessary validation and qualification of the software
  • Documents the work and results, updates specification, data sheets, design documentation 

REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE 

  • In-depth understanding of Linux embedded environment (posix / Linux programming)
  • Strong knowledge of C / C++ 
  • Has good knowledge of most common web technologies and internet communication protocols (SOA, SOAP, REST, CGI, AJAX, TCP, UDP, HTTP POST and GET, FTP, TFPT, …)
  • Has good knowledge of most common software development tools, editor, debugging and versioning 

NICE TO HAVE

  • Good knowledge of Python 
  • Good knowledge of Wi-Fi and Ethernet configuration, management and programming
  • Good knowledge of databases and SQL, in particular on embedded implementation (e.g. SQLITE3)
