Purpose of data processing

The Company may automatically collect and process, while browsing the Site, some information through the installation of cookies in the client or in the User's device, with the aim of providing and integrating the services and features offered by the Site (e.g. management of interactions with the User, improvement of user experience, sending of commercial communications in line with Users' needs and expectations).

The Company may process the above information to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns or to keep track of User's visits to the Site. For that purpose, the Company may install in the Site Third Parties’ cookies.

Below, the details regarding the different processing methods.

What is a Cookie?

Cookies consist of small text files, often including unique identifiers, that are sent by web servers to web browsers, and which may then be sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. Cookies are used for different purposes, have different characteristics, and can be used both by the owner of the Site (“first-party cookies”), or by third parties (“third-party cookies”).

Cookies allow a website to recognize your device. They have different purposes such as, for example, allowing you to navigate efficiently between pages, remembering your favorite sites and, in general, improving your browsing experience. They also help to ensure that the advertising content is more targeted to you and your interests.

The information recorded on User's device may be reused during the same visit to the Site ("session cookies") or later, even after days ("persistent cookies"). Cookies are stored, according to User's preferences, by the browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone).

The information below relates to the Cookies installed by the Site and the necessary instructions on how to manage the user’s preferences about them.

The User may give the consent to functional cookies by clicking on the "Accept" button available directly on the Cookie banner that appears to the User on the Site. Any functional cookie will not be activated if the User does not explicitly express the consent by clicking on this button. The same happens if the User closes the Cookie banner by continuing to navigate the Site.

This consent is tracked on subsequent visits. The help function of most web browsers explains how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how your browser can warn you when you receive a new cookie, how to disable cookies and when cookies expire. By disabling all cookies in your browser, neither FIMER nor Third Parties will send cookies to your browser.
