How shading technology in string inverters can provide optimal energy production compared to DC Optimisers

Tuesday, 19th July | 14:50 - 15:10

FIMER Australia's Technical Support Engineer, Zain Sakawala, will unpack the myths around string inverters vs DC Optimisers. This presentation will discuss the difference in inverter technology, how the shade management technology works in select smart string inverters and goes into detail about a field test completed that shows an inverter with this shade technology built-in vs. standard inverter without DC optimisers vs. standard inverters with DC optimisers. Zain will also go over the safety benefits string inverters have compared to MLPE.
