The new configuration tool distributed through Aurora Vision® supporting designers and installers
FIMER – a global player in the photovoltaic inverter market for residential, commercial and utility-scale applications – enters 2026 as a year of transformation and strategic relaunch and introduces PowerPHAST (PHotovoltaic Array Sizing Tool), a new high-fidelity simulation tool dedicated to the design of photovoltaic systems and energy storage solutions.
Available on Aurora Vision®, PowerPHAST delivers accurate and continuously updated simulations through advanced data models, supporting more effective design decisions and fully leveraging FIMER’s Power platform, with future extension to additional platforms.
PowerPHAST stands out for an approach that goes beyond purely theoretical simulations: the system is designed to model the expected performance of photovoltaic and storage systems, aligning system design with the way energy is actually produced, consumed, and stored over time.
Thanks to the access to detailed simulations and downloadable reports via Aurora Vision®, professionals can validate design choices, compare alternative scenarios, and support customers with clear, data-driven information.
As part of FIMER’s continuously evolving digital ecosystem, PowerPHAST is a solution designed to grow over time, progressively expanding its features and availability across additional platforms.
Key benefits and features:
• High-fidelity: always up-to-date, high-fidelity simulations enabled by integration with data models
• Tool distributed through Aurora Vision®
• Optimized storage sizing based on customer needs and behavior (energy production, consumption, and standard residential load profile)
• Ability to download reports and configurations
• Extensive photovoltaic panel database
• Energy production calculation based on azimuth, tilt, and expected irradiation at the installation site
• Installation site geolocation to estimate annual production capacity per m²
• Local irradiance calculation based on installation data and meteorological service data
• LAB section: photovoltaic and IV curves of the PV generator, simulations of self-consumption and storage system self-sufficiency across different periods of the year
The new PowerPHAST configurator will be presented during a series of dedicated events:
• A webinar in Italian, on February 19 at 3:00 PM CET (to be repeated on March 19), during which the inverter and energy storage sizing process will be explained, along with what can be achieved in just a few clicks.
• At KEY 2026, taking place in Rimini from March 4 to 6, at Stand 340 – Hall D5, alongside FIMER’s main product innovations and initiatives planned for 2026. During the event, FIMER experts will deliver presentations outlining the solution’s features and will be available for in-depth discussions and questions.
