TECHNICAL SALES

Location: Terranuova Bracciolini (Arezzo), Italy

Reporting Line: Sales Manager

Other: Availability to travel in Italy and Europe

Education: Bachelors’s Degree/ Master’s Degree or Technical Diploma (electronics, electrical engineering, energy)
Languages: Fluent English language knowledge. Italian mandatory
Experience: At least 3 years experience in a technical sales role in the energy/photovoltaic field

JOB SUMMARY AND SCOPE
The Technical Sales employee will be responsible for business development and technical support to distribution channel partners, service partners, installers and designers operating in the photovoltaic sector. The objective is to strengthen our market presence and to improve the level of support provided to the sales channel/end customers.

ACTIVITIES
•    Manage and develop relationships with specialised distributors, service partners, installers and technical offices.
•    Promote FIMER solutions 
•    Provide pre-sales technical support 
•    Carry out technical and commercial trainings (on-site, remotely or at the customer's premises)
•    Collaborate with marketing to produce technical and commercial material
•    Collect feedback from the field on product, service and competition
•    Contribute to the increase of sales volumes
•    Participate in tradeshows, events and technical roadshows in Italy and occasionally abroad.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
•    Extensive knowledge of inverters, PV systems and industry regulations
•    At least 3 years experience in a technical sales role in the energy/photovoltaic field
•    Knowledge of PV simulation tools (e.g. PVSyst) and CRM

BEHAVIORAL SKILLS
•    Consultative attitude and aim-oriented work ability
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer management skills
