The agreement will support AMP’s rollout of Battery Box, a distributed energy storage business designed to strengthen local electricity networks and increase grid flexibility.
FIMER, global electronics manufacturer specializing in photovoltaic inverters, announces an agreement with AMP to support the rollout of AMP’s Battery Box proposition, with FIMER supplying battery systems for AMP led deployment across suitable sites.
The partnership marks an important step for the Europe-based company, which has been on a significant growth path since being acquired by MA Solar UK. It is also part of a broader program with the goal of enhancing grid flexibility and supporting the energy transition.
The deal represents the first step in a broader collaboration between the two companies, focused on the rollout of distributed storage systems that support grid flexibility and strengthen local network resilience where it is needed most.
Under this agreement, FIMER will supply 400 units of PVX-215, with project kick-off scheduled for July and completion expected by the end of the year, according to the current timeline. AMP will lead site development, installation and deployment of the systems through its Battery Box business, acting as the primary point of contact for landowners and organisations interested in hosting battery storage.
FIMER PVX-107/215-HV is a modular energy storage system with capacity ranging from 107 to 215 kWh; it is ideally suited for C&I projects and adapts to evolving energy demands. Its IP55 protection rating enables outdoor installation in all environmental conditions, with an operating temperature range from -30°C to +55°C.
